This year Fusion celebrates the Bi-Centenary of the abolition of the Slave Trade by considering slavery in the Abstract.

We present a global tribute to all peoples of all shades and races who have suffered and are still suffering enslavement.
In a sense a culture can be likened to a landscape that is rich, fulfilling all the needs of its people, physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual.

Fusion presents two sections (Section 1 The Storm and Section 2 The Sun) designed by Neil Sheriff

|

Section 1 The Storm
The Storm:- Is dark, foreboding, soulless, Violent and destructive. Enslavement is likened to a dark, savage and terrifying storm emerging from some far horizons, decimating all in its wake and laying waste that which was a rich, fertile, fulfilling and life-giving land; but, in the dark earth of the land, lay dormant the seeds of hope, of life, of who we are, our aspirations, we survive....
|

Section 2 The Sun
The Sun:- Is brilliant, golden and full of hope, Survival and prosperity. The faint rays of the distant sun emerge over the horizon. Seeds buried in the dark and barren earth feel the warmth. They use their store of hope, their aspirations, and the will to live and to survive and push against the darkness; bursting from the dark earth and emerging to bathe in the life sustaining rays of a golden Sun. The Sun has come and it is time to celebrate our collected history. Remembering the past but looking forward to a brighter future.
